Poaching an Egg

vinegar or lemon juice 
 
fill a skillet or saute pan with water, about two inches. bring it to a 
low boil and add some vinegar (one tsp per egg) or lemon juice. gently 
crack each egg, and slowly let each slide into the water. each will stay 
together, and will come out easy with a slotted spoon.
