Sesame Salmon Steak
 
1   salmon fillet (1-1/2 to 2 pounds)
2 Tbsp  cider vinegar
2 Tbsp  soy sauce
1 Tbsp  honey
1 tsp  vegetable oil
1 tsp  spicy brown or horseradish mustard
1/8 to 1/4 tsp  ground ginger
2 Tbsp  sesame seeds, toasted
3   green onions, sliced
 
place salmon in a shallow dish. combine vinegar, soy sauce, honey, oil, 
mustard and ginger; pour over salmon. cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, 
turning once. drain and discard marinade. broil skin side up for 10 
minutes. turn over and continue to broil an additional 5-15 minutes or 
until the fish flakes easily with a fork. or grill, covered, over 
medium-high heat for 15-20 minutes. sprinkle with sesame seeds and onions. 
yield: 4 servings.
