Hungarian Goulash
 
1 lb.  good stewing beef
2 oz.  lard
1 lb.  onions
1   garlic clove
2 tsp  paprika
1/2 tsp  marjoram
1 pinch  caraway seeds
  salt and pepper
 
Cube beef and fry till brown. Add onions, cut into rings. Add crushed 
garlic, seasonings and paprika. Cover and leave on very low flame for cup 2 
hours or till meat is tender.
